Al Gharbia, the Western region of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, is home to 350 kilometres of stunning natural coastline. This year's Watersports Festival is staged at Mirfa, which is approximately 120 kilometres west of the city of Abu Dhabi. Travel from Abu Dhabi city is easy along the Abu Dhabi-Sila Highway (E11).

Overseas visitors and participants should preferably fly to Abu Dhabi International Airport and connect by road to Mirfa. Public buses, taxis and rental cars are easily available within the emirate.
